Greg is a seasoned global executive with more than 40 years of experience in technical, managerial and executive leadership roles in the petroleum and financial services industries. His highly diversified background includes positions in major international firms, junior oils, foreign governments, and financial service companies.
Greg joined Mobil Oil in Canada and for a period of 25-years, he held positions of increasing responsibility in the company’s Exploration and Producing Division (E&P) in Canada, the US, Indonesia, and Central Asia. At the time of the Exxon-Mobil merger, he was VP, Business Development for E&P in the Former Soviet Union. Later in his petroleum career, he advised the Government of Kuwait on its international upstream expansion, ran business development for Dana Gas, the largest private sector oil and gas company in the Middle East, and later joined publicly listed East West Petroleum (EW) as President & CEO. In the financial sector, he held the positions of Manager, Financial Analysis, Mobil E&P and was an Investment Representative for Edward Jones in Texas.
Greg received a BSc. In Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario and an MSc. in Geology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. He previously held Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
